Assistant Professor
Mr. Roy is currently a Ph.D. research fellow at Concordia University, Canada, working in the field of tribology (i.e., solid lubricants). His research is a collaboration between the "Thermal Spray Lab" at Concordia University and the "McGill Tribology Laboratory" at McGill University. The main focus is to optimize the microstructure of oxide coatings using Suspension Plasma Spraying (SPS) and High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) processes. In addition, the coatings are being tested for high-temperature wear resistance.
